Yahoo News Reader with Cairngorm
This is the result of learning Cairngorm over the weekend :-)
Here’s the sourcecode : CGNewsReader.zip (29KB)
Adobe’s as3syndication library doesn’t support RSS feeds with “media” content so if you want to compile the source, you need to have an extended version of the library available here .
You also need a PHP script to work around crossdomain issue. I found the script here. It’s included in the zip.

that was trully great example sir. Umm.. but i have a question sir. Your demo about simple flex calculator+php is not working. When i press hitung button an RPC fault occured. [RPC Fault faultString=“Security error accessing url” faultCode=“Channel.Security.Error” faultDetail=“Destination: DefaultHTTP”]
I also found something new way to call swf application using javascript in this blog. Very cool sir.. Nice too meet you..
